Dear Member,
Tier 4 Arrangements at Bedfordshire Golf Club
Following the Government announcement, Tier 4 restrictions arrangements at Bedfordshire Golf Club from Monday 21st December will be as follows:
Golf
Weather permitting, our golf courses will reopen at 8.00am tomorrow
All golf will be in a 2 ball format to comply with the new Government restrictions**
Initially, all golf will be booked in rounds of 9 holes only (1st and 10th on the Stagsden Course, and the 1st on the Par 3 Academy Course), to maximise availability of the courses for all Members. The 9 holes only arrangement will be reviewed depending upon course availability.
Members can only be entered in a maximum of 5 bookings in a forward 7 day period (all 9 hole bookings on either course count towards the 5 booking total)
The 5 bookings in a 7 day period starts from the following day, so Members are free to book any available tee slots on either course on the current day, without affecting their forward bookings total.
The IG Booking App will continue to open daily at 6.45am for bookings 7 days hence
As a one off, to allow Members to book tee times for tomorrow and the next few days, IG will open today at 4.00pm, so that you can book 9 hole tee times off the 1st and 10th of the Stagsden Course and 1st tee of the Par 3 Academy Course.
NB: **We recognise that the Government guidance allows for more than two people who live together in one household, or are part of a 'support bubble' to socialise together, but the courses will be playing at 2 ball pace and IG is now set up for only two names per tee slot. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Driving Range, Golf Coaching and Pro-Shop
Our Driving Range will be open as normal
Outdoor Golf Coaching and Customer Fitting will continue as normal
The Pro-Shop will be open for golf, driving range related payments and Click & Collect items, but closed for sales of golf wear/equipment.
Clubhouse and Half-Way Hut
The Half-Way Hut will be open daily from 8.40am to 3.00pm for hot & cold food and beverages. It will however be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
The Clubhouse will be closed, except for access to toilets and lockers
Travel to and from Bedfordshire Golf Club
Travel into and out of Tier Four areas should be avoided except for essential reasons.
We recognise that these restrictions are not ideal, but have been put in place to protect us all. Please ensure that whilst at Bedfordshire Golf Club, you abide by the Social Distancing rules and remain safe.
We look forward seeing you at Stagsden.
